Tour of The Natural Forest of Valdiserre

Discover the diverse species of Orchids that hide spontaneously in our Forest

Duration: 2 hours and 15 minutes

THE TOUR

The tour is designed to experience fully the Ecosystem of Loazzolo. Along the route you will really get in contact with nature, you can can easily appreciate the coexistence of the different plants and animals in the area such as raptors, squirrels, deer, wild boar and badgers. Finding the vineyards that peep out of the woods will be a complete sensory experience during this walk.
Departure is from the village: almost immediately you enter in the lower part of the property then to the chestnut forest in the valley and then up to the woods of Valdiserre and, after a long walk between oak and chestnut trees, you reach the Vela vineyard. The panoramic views are different and well explained by information stations. At the end of the tour you will travel twice a vertical drop of 150m.

This tour is for a wide public: families, lovers of hiking and walking in the open air and for those who don’t mind taking a moment to also sit down and enjoy a quality food and wine pairing from this area.
You can walk along this tour with walking shoes and clothing suitable for the country. We propose, however, to try the Nordic Walking technique involving the use of chopsticks and a specific walking technique designed to stimulate all the major muscles, similar to cross country skiing: arms and shoulders are involved actively making the exercise more effective. It is also easy to practice, a natural movement with alternating rhythm.
